Happy New Year to all you Savvy Scrappin Sistas!

Ladies, ladies where have you been! We've got work to do! 2010 is here, and you still don't know what to do with all those pictures... Beginning in Febuary the SSS will be branching out! We have heard your cry and some of your screams!!! We will be offering technique classes as well as classes that feature funkie fantastic layout sketches! We will also be offering classes on week-ends in addition to our regularly scheduled weeknights. So stay tuned and be on the look out for new and exciting classes offered at Funkie Munkie Scraps! Croppin the Night Away!

OKAY Sistas! Our next group crop will be held Friday night September 25th and in the spirit of football.....are you ready to rumble?...OOOppps that's not football.....anyways are you ready?

Our crop will begin at 6:00pm and end when the last woman drops......Please bring a friend to share in the food and fun.....as a matter of fact, the more friends you bring the better your chances to win "The Scrappin Sista Stash!" What is the SS Stash you ask? Well let's just say you will not be disappointed, it's colorful and you will use it (them) in your scrapbooks or on a cute project.......So, pile your girlfriends up in the car and head to Funkie Munkie Scraps for a scrappin good time!!!

September Class!!

The Savvy Scrappin Sistas will meet next Wednesday Night September 16th! We will have a "guest" teacher Lynda B. and she will be teaching her Mosaic techniques to the group! So come on out and get Funkie with Lynda B. as she shares her fresh and exciting technique with all of us!

July 7th Class

Hello Ladies,
Thanks for your participation and energy in tonight's class. I truly appreciated it since...I didn't have any! ha...To those of you who missed it.....we worked on incorporating "tags" as an element to our double page layout....simple enough, but something to make you go huummmm? Hello Ladies,
I am sooo excited to see what Karen comes up with for the challenge this month! Remember she is the challenge winner for June. Just scroll down to see her award winning layout! This month's class is July 7th....yes next Tuesday at Funkie Munkie Scraps from 6:30-8:30...don't forget to bring your basic supplies and your pictures for a complete layout! As soon as we finalize a date for the July crop I we will let you know.....but with CHA, there may not be a crop, but a party in August.....Hmmmmm?...I don't know....we shall see!

Entry #4 Karen. Congratulations to Karen who made this black , white and red layout for her son. Here are the pictures of her layout. Look for more items of Karen's scrappin style coming this month! Karen gets the title of Savvy Scrapper for the month of June, gets the opportunity to create the layout for the next challenge and receives $10 in Munkie Munie! Congrats to Karen way to go!

I Just Love Glitz Design

Our class lastnight was a blast! We worked on embossing techniques using both wet and dry methods. We used templates, embossing folders and various powders and inks! Again, we had a great time, and I think everyone at least learned something!!
